Computer Terms Part 3 Please study the terms and take the test
Favorites: a saved list of web pages that is stored as links in your browser, also called Bookmarks
File: Stores the data-- words, pictures, or numbers-- for a computer to use.
File Management: What you use to organize and find the files that are stored on a Disk
File Name: The name that you give your file when you save the file to a storage media so that you can remember what it is.
Fill with Color Tool: Fills the inside of a shape with color. Flip or Rotate Tool: to turn an image to see what it looks like upside down and reversed Floppy Disk: Storage media on which you can store a file so you can take it home with you. Floppy Disk Drive: The device, attached to your computer, where you insert thefloppy disk. Folders: Organizes where you store files on storage media. Font Size: Tells you the size of the letters, numbers, and symbols that you are typing in a document. Formatting: Changing the way text appears on the screen and in print Graphics: Pictures on the computer. Hard Disk: a storage device that is inside the CPU of your computer that stores thesoftware and data
