Pastor James L.. Hines began his Pastorship at
Lily Missionary Baptist Church in 1988 after moving from Benton Harbor to
Jackson Michigan. He was 26 years old and ready to face the challenge of
Pastoring because he believed God was with him. He believes if "God
be for you, who can be against you?".
Under Pastor Hines' leadership, the church has realized spiritual and
financial growth. Pastor Hines is a man of spiritual conviction who
preaches, teaches and practices living holy. He is a hearer and doer
of the word and gives openly of himself and his substance. The Church has
been blessed by the example he has set as a leader and it is evident that
Pastor Hines is born again. He is a loving and nurturing husband and a
father to his family.
