The Lily Missions Center provides the following programs for
youth:
Tutorial Education - helping youth academically through
After School Programs and Summer Reading Programs (over 100
students annually, 5-14 years of age)

Teen Transition - The goal of the center’s Teen
Transition Program is to provide teenagers in the community with
positive peer to peer interactions and prepare them for a
successful future. Maintaining records of attendance and
participation are key elements to evaluating the Teen
Transition Program’s success.
College Preparation ACT/SAT, FAFSA & Scholarship
application workshops for high school students
We also
counsel youth and families on the importance of education as
an ingredient to success and self sufficiency.

PROGRAMS
During the After School and Summer Reading Programs, students
receive help with homework and tutoring from caring adults in the
community. Thorough assessments are given to each student at the
commencement and end of both programs by trained
professionals in order to monitor measurable outcomes.
After-School
The Lily Missions Center’s After School Program is provided
throughout the school year from 3:00-6:00 p.m. Monday through
Thursday. Children age 5-14 years old focuses on homework
completion and tutoring in Reading, English and Math.
Children are also introduced to computer education or enhancement of
computer skills.

Summer Reading
The goal of this program is too
get the children involved in extracurricular educational activities
over the summer. The Summer Reading Program ensures that children
ages 5-12 are intellectually stimulated throughout the months when
traditional school is not in session. Students attending this
program are not only encouraged toread, but receive one on one
direction that is specifically catered toeach individual’s need.
The certified program consultants and instructors administer pre
tests to all students enrolling in the program in order to
effectively create an individualized six week lesson plans.
Lily Missions Center wants to create a habit in “at-risk” children
to read for enjoyment and to encourage family members read to
